What does a stair renovation in Gouda cost?
A complete stair renovation costs € 190 to € 275 per tread, including fitting. For a closed staircase of thirteen treads that works out at roughly € 2,500 to € 3,570 including VAT.
What you pay depends on the number of treads, the system you choose and whether the risers and stringers are included. You receive a fixed price per tread in advance, so there are no surprises afterwards. Prices valid up to and including 31 December 2026.

The treads are 4.3 mm thin and therefore fit straight over your existing staircase, without shortening the nosings. With a lifespan of 25 years or more, a staircase of thirteen treads comes down to around € 100 a year.
