Ultra-thin stair covering made of natural stone composite

From narrow to open, from old to new
EverStep was developed for staircases in homes: closed or open, straight or with a quarter turn. Narrow and older staircases can also be renovated with it, precisely because nothing needs to be shortened or cut down. For outdoor use or unheated spaces, your dealer will assess in advance whether the substrate, bonding and finish are suitable. For stairwells in apartment buildings, schools, offices and public buildings, there is EverStep Solid, which is designed for heavier use and meets additional requirements.

Signature: complete finish, made to measure
Don't just want the treads renewed, but the staircase as a whole — including string boards, handrail and balustrade, in a colour you compose yourself? Then Signature is the version where the entire staircase is built and seamlessly finished on site.

GripStep: slip resistance without renovation
With GripStep anti-slip elements you apply this yourself to the existing treads, from €585 for thirteen treads. This can also be combined: a complete renovation below, GripStep in the same colour above.

EverStep is a 4.3 mm natural stone composite overlay tread with an integrated stair nosing. It fits directly over the existing tread without shortening the nosing or dismantling the staircase. Available in standard lengths of 108 and 150 cm. The tread depth is 38 cm. The integrated nosing is 50 mm high.
The stair nosing is an integral part of the tread. No separate profile edge, no visible seam — just a calm, clean finish.
EverStep is easy to cut to size with standard tools, such as a plunge saw with a suitable blade.
Recycled natural stone composite with a strong, easy-to-clean finish.
Only 4.3 mm thick, so your existing staircase barely gains height.
Stone Naturel offers a calm, even stone look. Stone Blend is mottled and has more depth. Terrazzo is the classic look with coarser flecks. Five colours per collection.
All fifteen cost the same. So there's no need to weigh up whether the colour you like best is worth the extra cost — that trade-off simply doesn't exist here.
One thing does apply: a colour on a screen is never quite the same as in your hallway. Request a sample, or come and view the collection at our Experience Center in Waddinxveen — by appointment.
As an indication, the total price for a standard staircase with thirteen treads ranges between €2,500 and €2,950, including VAT and including an amount for standard installation.
Your dealer assesses your staircase, sets their own rate, and specifies measuring, preparation, installation and any additional work in the final quote.
EverStep cannot be ordered online. The tread is custom-made for your staircase, and careful measuring and bonding are what determine a tight, durable result. That's why we work exclusively with dealers. Installation is carried out by your dealer, or by an installation partner working according to the Omnistair system. Either way, your dealer remains your point of contact.
Most overlay treads show a wood, concrete or stone pattern in a printed decor layer under a protective coating. As long as that layer is intact, you barely notice the difference. If a printed decor layer wears through in places, the layer underneath becomes visible, and local touch-ups are often no longer possible.
EverStep has a mineral surface layer of natural stone composite with design pigments. The appearance comes from the grain structure itself, not from a printed image. There is no print that can wear through, and no film that can peel off.
Many systems add slip resistance as an extra layer on top of the finish, or as a separate profile in the nosing. With EverStep, the structure is built into the finished surface itself: what you feel is the material. Technical test results and the application limits per version can be found in our public technical handbook.
4.3 mm. As a result, the tread barely adds height and the nosing doesn't need to be shortened — a step that is required with thicker systems and permanently alters the staircase.
Yes. EverStep is installed through our nationwide dealer network, from Groningen to Limburg. Every dealer works according to the same installation method, so the result is consistent everywhere. Use the dealer page to find the nearest specialist in your region.
This is exactly where EverStep excels. Because the treads are only 4.3 mm thin, nosings don't need to be shortened and the system fits directly over the existing staircase. Narrow and older staircases, which are often not renovatable with traditional overlay treads, can be finished this way.
EverStep consists of recycled natural stone composite, a material developed for intensive daily use. Where wood-look foil and plastic show wear after years, natural stone composite retains its appearance. You renovate a staircase this way just once.
Yes. EverStep's slip resistance is built into the colour pigments themselves — it's genuine structure within the material, not a layer applied on top that can wear away. As a result, grip is retained, even after years of daily use.
Our dealer network keeps growing, but doesn't yet cover every region. If there's no dealer directly in your area, get in touch anyway: many dealers work across a wider area than their location suggests. We're happy to help you find the specialist who can take care of your staircase.
Yes. Through the colour box you'll receive five genuine 10 × 10 cm material samples at home, shipped within three working days. This lets you compare the colours in your own light and interior — a colour on screen always differs from reality. Request your colour box or view the full range at our Experience Center in Waddinxveen.
Yes. Your dealer first levels the existing stair nosing so that the EverStep tread fits tightly without a visible edge; the rear side is finished with a matching profile. If you would rather keep most of the wooden tread visible, GripStep elements in the same colour and texture are an attractive alternative: the staircase keeps its character and gains a stone walking surface.
In two standard sizes: 108 cm and 150 cm wide, 38 cm deep. Wider treads up to 205 cm are available on request. Every tread is cut to size for your staircase, including the integrated stair nosing.
