What Indoor Air Comfort Gold assesses

Indoor Air Comfort Gold is an assessment framework by test institute Eurofins that evaluates the emissions of construction products into indoor air against the strictest requirements applied in European countries and labels — including limit values for volatile organic compounds. The Gold level bundles the strictest of those requirements; a product that meets it therefore has documented low emission values. For a finish applied in a home, school or care institution, that is the relevant criterion: not how the product smells, but what it measurably releases.

What was tested for EverStep Solid

The SolidLux UV coating system — the finish of EverStep Solid — has been tested by Eurofins for emissions and meets the requirements of Indoor Air Comfort Gold. The system is also solvent-free: the coating cures under UV light instead of through evaporation of solvents. And the adhesion primer with which the system is applied is bio-based, with a demonstrable bio-based content in accordance with NEN-EN 16640.
