Material
EverStep is a stair tread made of recycled natural stone composite with a thickness of 4.3 millimetres. The anti-slip performance is built into the colour pigments themselves: it is genuine texture within the material, not a coating that can wear off. The tread is finished with a protective PU top layer and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Dimensions and weight
The sheet size is 2190 by 380 millimetres. The tread depth consists of a 38 centimetre surface plus a 5 centimetre nosing, adding up to 43 centimetres of visible surface. EverStep is available in standard lengths of 108 and 150 centimetres. A 108 centimetre tread weighs 3.56 kilograms; the 150 centimetre version weighs 4.95 kilograms. That low weight makes a real difference on site: one installer lifts, fits and places each tread without assistance.
Colours
EverStep is available in 15 colours across three collections: Stone Naturel (SN01 to SN05), Stone Blend (SB01 to SB05) and Terrazzo (TZ01 to TZ05). Because both the colour and the anti-slip texture are part of the material itself, the surface keeps its appearance, even in the walking zone where a staircase takes the heaviest use.
Application and installation
EverStep has been developed for stair renovation in residential homes. The tread is installed directly over the existing tread; in almost all cases, there is no need to shorten stair nosings. This means narrow and older staircases can also be renovated where other systems fall short. Supply and installation run through the Omnistair dealer network, so every staircase is fitted by a professional who knows the system.

Frequently asked questions

A 108 centimetre tread weighs 3.56 kilograms and a 150 centimetre tread weighs 4.95 kilograms. This means EverStep can be handled by one person, even in tight stairwells.
In almost all cases, no. EverStep is placed directly over the existing tread and nosing. Only with strongly deviating or damaged nosings will the dealer assess on site whether an adjustment is needed.
EverStep is available in 15 colours across the Stone Naturel, Stone Blend and Terrazzo collections, offering a matching stone or terrazzo look for every interior.
