The staircase looks sleek, feels solid, and requires virtually no maintenance. The finish flows seamlessly, making the staircase look like one coherent whole.
The stair renovation in Capelle aan den IJssel was carried out with Omnistair Signature in Polar Stip. The overlay treads of recycled natural stone composite are just 4.3 mm thin and fit directly over the existing treads — no need to shorten the stair noses. With its high wear resistance, this material is more durable than wood or PVC. An official Omnistair dealer completes the installation in a single working day. Why a bold material choice can still bring calm: read architectural calm and material psychology.
