How to keep your Omnistair staircase beautiful
An Omnistair staircase is made to last. The recycled natural stone composite is dense, strong and low-maintenance — no special treatments, no coatings that need reapplying. With a few simple habits, your staircase will look like new for years.
Daily care
For day-to-day care you need very little. Simply sweep away dust and loose dirt, or wipe it up with a slightly damp cloth. More is usually not needed — the surface does not absorb dirt, so it stays beautiful all by itself.
A thorough clean
For a more thorough clean, use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner. Half a capful in a litre of lukewarm water is more than enough. Wipe the surface with a well-wrung cloth or mop.
Important: do not clean too wet. With too much water, the loosened dirt simply stays behind in the water and dries as a haze on the surface. A slightly damp, clean cloth always gives the best result.
Something stubborn? Rub gently with a slightly firmer cloth. The surface is built for daily use, but aggressive scrubbing or corrosive products are never needed — and not needed means: don't.
In short
Clean mild and pH-neutral — no corrosive or abrasive products. Lukewarm water, work slightly damp — never too wet. Always use a clean cloth, so you remove dirt instead of spreading it around. Test any new product first on a small, inconspicuous corner.
